GoFairTrade.net now offers a webring for North American fair traders. What is a webring? This is a group of websites that shares some sort of affiliation, in this case, a mission of fair trade with disadvantaged producers of crafts or farm products. These websites affiliate by joining a web linking system that automatically links the websites to one another through a third party administrator. Our webring is maintained by webring.com.
Requirements to Join
- This webring is for fair trade companies and resources only.
- Sites submitted to this webring must be fair trade companies or an obvious fair trade resource.
- No sites are allowed that have pornographic content or links to such sites.
- The page that you submit to the ring, MUST ultimately include an HTML fragment that will be emailed to you soon after you submit an application to join the ring.

Please note!! Shorty after joining, you will be emailed an HTML fragment that must be must be
placed into your webpage HTML code. Some members may choose to place this code on the
main page of their site, others choose to place it on a new page or a page located deeper within
their site. Regardless, the page that contains the code will be the page that a websurfer will first see
as they browse through the webring. If you do not maintain your own site, then you will have to ask
your webmaster to insert the coding for the ring onto your site. If you do maintain your own site,
but are unsure of how do insert this fragment, here are some simple instructions:
Step involved in order to join the ring:
1. Submit your site to the webring by clicking on the Join Ring link above. You will soon receive
an email with the HTML fragment that you need to insert within the submitted webpage.
2. Copy the fragment (highlight the fragment in the email, pc users use "ctrl C" to copy)
decide where in the page you want the fragment and then to paste "ctrl V".
3. Email us to let us know that the HTML fragment is live on the website and ready to review,
and if it is all correct, your site will promtly be added to the ring.
To view properly inserted code, return to the GoFairTrade.net homepage and click "view" then "source"
in the browser menu and you will see our code at the bottom of our HTML code.

the webring and you will need your password.
